Teachers have always occupied a special place in our society and culture. Traditions place teachers even above God. In India Teachers Day is celebrated on 5th September every year, to honour Dr Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan, who served as the first Vice President of India and the second President of India, as his birth anniversary.
Teachers’ Day is a special day for the appreciation of teachers, and students of VIT hold celebrations to honor them for their special contributions in a particular field area, or the community in general.
