QUIZ CONTEST CLUB ACTIVITIES

The main purpose of the club is to update the knowledge of the students in various fields like academics, general knowledge, analytical abilities, quantitative reasoning, etc. Quiz programs are conducted in each academic year for the betterment of students. The winners are honored with prizes and certificates during the College Annual Day.

The Quiz Club aims at identifying students talented in quiz and creating opportunities for them to sharpen their quizzing skills. Quiz programs are conducted at regular intervals during each academic year for the betterment of students. Awards and certificates are distributed to the winners during the college Achievers Day. Students are also given opportunities to represent the college in Quiz Competitions conducted by other institutions.

OBJECTIVES

  • The Club aims at promoting interest among the students in order to enhance their general knowledge.
  • To prepare competitive examinations.
  • To popularize quizzing activities among students.
  • To enable the youngsters to fight and win in the field of quizzing.
  • To form a group of quiz enthusiasts.
  • To initiate new students into the world of knowledge.
  • To give them guidance on specific areas of quizzing and encourage them to participate in quizzes.
  • To conduct interdepartmental quiz competitions.
  • To conduct periodical quizzes on specific topics among the members of the club.

Dear Students

We are going to start club activity to encourage our students. All courses of both colleges to have ‘Club Time’ in last two hours of Saturday (from 2:25 Pm-4:25Pm) to start with.

VGI encourages its students to become actively involved in club activities. The involvement of students in these activities can help them in gaining experience in Quiz Club is to update the knowledge of the students in various fields like Academic, General Knowledge, Analytical abilities, Quantitative reasoning, technology, teamwork, leadership, organization etc.
